OIPE Student Schwartz Rounds
OIPE Student Schwartz Rounds at McGill
As we continue to cultivate an environment of compassionate care and professional growth, we are excited to extend the reach of these rounds beyond clinical settings at the Montreal Children's Hospital and the Department of Medicine, bringing this transformative program directly to our FMHS students.
Originating from the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Care in Boston, USA, Schwartz Rounds has gained international recognition for its emphasis on the human dimensions of healthcare. Inspired by the UK Point of Care Foundation’s work with Schwartz Rounds for students, we are proud to pioneer the first University-based program in Canada, bringing this transformative experience directly to our students.
