There will be a book launch for Elizabeth Elbourne. Her book is titled, Empire, Kinship and Violence: Family Histories, Indigenous Rights and the Making of Settler Colonialism, (1770-1842). 

There will be a discussion between the author Professor Elizabeth Elbourne (History and Classical Studies, McGill) and respondents Dr. Nathan Ince (History and Classical Studies, McGill), Professor Jason Opal (History and Classical Studies, McGill), Professor Sarah Ghabrial (History, Concordia), and Sandra-Lynn Leclaire (Kahnawà:ke Education Center) and moderated by Professor Elsbeth Heaman (History and Classical Studies, Mcgill). 

The event will be on: Tuesday, April 18, from 5-7pm in Morrice Hall 017 (3485 McTavish)

Librairie Paragraphe will be selling copies of the book at the event.
