Grad Hub

At the Institute for Human Development and Well-being we seek to embed wellness into how we work, collaborate, play and investigate.

Our Graduate Student Alliance, or “Grad Hub” for short, is an intellectual convergence of budding transdisciplinary researchers as well as a welcoming home for like-minded students to connect as individuals.

Our Grad Hub is a place to co-generate well-being and human development related research alongside enriching new friendships.

Location: Duggan House, 3724 rue McTavish [map]

Co-working

As a busy graduate student, it’s hard to find time to socialize, manage your stress and meet demanding deadlines. During our weekly co-working sessions you can do all three! We are able to offer time between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM during the weekwhere you would benefit from some like-mindedcompany and a cup of coffee to help you focus on your work.

For those interested, we offer training to interested students on how to conduct a 10 minute mindfulness-based stress reduction activity and before settling in for a co-working session. Feel free to bring your lunch! For graduate students of IHDW members as well as graduate students working on themes relevant to human development and well-being welcome to attend! COFFEE AND TEA SERVED
