From today (World Suicide Prevention Day) until October 10th (World Mental Health Day), the IHDW is supporting a Jack.org initiative thatchallenges everyone to commit to small, concrete actions towards positive mental health in their communities.Themental health revolution will only happen when we stop just talking about change and actually #DoSomething!

The initiative - #DoSomething - launched in 2017 and spread to every corner of Canada within days. Small actions make a big difference, and #DoSomething makes it easy for people to make a bona fide impact.

So how do you get involved?

  • Step 1: Head to jack.org/dosomething.
  • Step 2: Choose the initiative you’d like to commit to.
  • Step 3: Fill out the form. We'll send you a FREE #DoSomething package with info on mental health, your initiative guide, and a pair of gloves to show the world you're getting to work.
  • Step 4: Share your action and #DoSomething package on social media to inspire others to join you. Use the hashtag #DoSomething and tag @jackdotorg.
  • Step 5: Be part of a movement of thousands of people who know that together we can be better, we can do better, we can #DoSomething to significantly improve youth mental health.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll update you on the impact these actions have across the country.

This is important.Join us.

Love,
Jack.org and the IHDW Grad Hub team!
