Graduation Portraits and Class Mosaic

Professional graduation portraits can be scheduled ahead of Convocation Day. The Student Society of McGill University invites you to book your appointment with Agence Voltaic using the following links:

To have your graduation photo display on the class mosaic for 2025-2026 take note of the below deadlines:

• To appear on a class mosaic in time for convocation: May 8, 2026
• To appear on a class mosaic for the 2025-2026 academic year: June 19, 2026

Convocation Day Photography

Studio Laurea will capture the defining moments of convocation day. Photographers will document each student’s experience before crossing the stage, during on-stage recognition, and upon being greeted by the Faculty Dean or their delegate.

Following each ceremony, dedicated photography areas will be available for individual, friends, and family portraits. These sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with no appointment or sitting fee required.

Photos will be available to view and purchase within a few days after the ceremony. Students can access their private gallery by visiting www.studiolaurea.com and logging in using their McGill Student ID along with the first two letters of their last name (e.g., ID: 123456789, John Smith = Webcode: 123456789SM). If photos were taken at a previous convocation and the webcode is no longer valid, a new code will be sent directly by email.

Diploma Frames

McGill degree diplomas are 17" wide by 11" high (horizontal format). Certificates are 11" wide by 17" high (vertical format).
The University Bookstore, McGill Campus Store, sells frames for diplomas and photographs. To view their selection, you can visit their website.

McGill Apparel

McGill apparel is available through the University Bookstore, McGill Campus Store. 

University Rings and Other Gifts

The University Bookstore, McGill Campus Store, sells a selection of gifts for McGill grads. University rings are no longer offered at McGill Campus Store but can be ordered through the following suppliers:

Flowers                                                                                                             

Guests are asked not to present flowers to graduands before the ceremony, as they will not be permitted to carry them across the stage. 

Parents and friends may pre-order their flowers before the ceremony through a third-party company. 

Flowers will also be available for purchase onsite on the day of convocation outside the entrance to the venue.
