Downtown Ceremonies
The Spring Convocation ceremonies (Downtown Campus) will be held in the Tomlinson Fieldhouse, McGill Sports Complex. The Fieldhouse is a large venue located in the McGill University Sports Complex on Pine Ave west.
The venue will open one hour and thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony for graduates and one hour before the start of the ceremony for guests.
Macdonald Campus Ceremonies
The Spring Convocation ceremonies for the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will be held in the Centennial Centre Ballroom, Macdonald Campus. The Ballroom is on the 2nd floor of the Centennial Centre building at the McGill University Macdonald campus.
The venue will open one hour and thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony for graduates and one hour before the start of the ceremony for guests.
Guests and Seating
The Spring 2026 Convocation ceremonies are ticketed events. Guests will need a ticket to access the venue. Graduates will receive an email with the link to the ticket system in May. They will be able to purchase up to four (4) guest tickets ($20+tax/ticket).
IMPORTANT: guests will not be let into the venue without a ticket. Graduates do not need a ticket for themselves but must have their line-up card and regalia to be able to access the venue.
The ceremonies are live-streamed so family and guests can also watch from venues off campus. Please see the Guests section of the FAQ page if you have any questions.
Accessibility
Convocation is committed to being as accessible and barrier-free as possible for students, faculty, and guests. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs or require accommodations to participate by filling out the Request for Accessibility Accommodation form.
Please note that there is no parking on at the McGill Sports Complex. For parking at Macdonald campus, refer to the visitor parking page.
