Program Description
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in East Asian Studies offered by the Faculty of Arts offers interdisciplinary training and specialization in the cultural, social, and historical research on Asia from literature to migration, from visual art to popular religion, and from film and media to gender politics. Historical periods of specialization covered range from the medieval to the contemporary. Particular emphasis is placed on intercultural, transnational, and feminist approaches to the study of East Asia.
