Profile
I came to Canada in 2009, at the age of 13. Not knowing any French, I attended intensive high school French classes, Classe d’Accueil, at École Secondaire Monseigneur Richard. After a year of learning French and becoming familiar with the culture and customs, I continued my studies at École Secondaire Mont-Royal, in the International baccalaureate (IB) program. Having already learnt French and done high school in French, I chose to continue my education in English at Dawson College, where I took part in the FCS Health Science program. After finishing college, I applied and got accepted to Med-P at McGill. I have always wanted to help others and also am very passionate about the human body and how it works, this is why I chose to study Medicine at McGill; where excellent education, numerous research opportunities and patient centered approach is combined with outstanding professors and a very diverse and supportive student body. In my free time, I listen to audiobooks, watch movies and series, and go out with friends. I also used to be a professional swimmer and participated in provincial and national competitions.
