Kevin joined the Richards lab in July 2025 as a research associate. He holds a BSc in Bioinformatics, an MSc in Microbiology from the University of Alberta, and a PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences from McGill University. His doctoral research focused on applying genetic epidemiology methods to drug target discovery. Kevin is particularly interested in integrating human genetic data with multi-omics approaches to better understand the effects of environmental exposures on diseases, and how the causes, progression, and prevalence of diseases may differ across ancestries.
