Current research: 

Our lab examines the effect of different types, durations, intensities and timings of exercise on blood glucose levels in people living with type 1 diabetes. Much of our current work is also examining these aspects within the context of women’s health (menstrual cycle, menopause).

Projects: 
  1. Recruitment and retention for a longitudinal diabetes registry: a qualitative assessment of participant needs and preferences.
  2. Monitoring Outcomes of Movement during Pregnancy in Type 1 Diabetes (MOM-T1D): an observational study.
  3. Effect of ambient temperature on blood glucose levels in individuals with type 1 diabetes.
