Interventions related to polypharmacy, deprescribing, safe and effective prescribing, and medication rationalization, to improve outcomes in hospitalized and community dwelling older adults. Classical epidemiology studies as well as clinical trials experience.

- Randomized pragmatic trial of ideal dosing of iron for young women with iron deficiency anemia “the daily iron study”
- Randomized trial of ideal vancomycin dosing for clostridium difficile colitis- comparing a taper for first occurrence vs traditional 14 days of therapy
