Health Services & Policy - Cardiovascular. Research focuses on the impact of the changing epidemiology of congenital heart disease on health services delivery, quality and policy. My research tools have included large administrative databases and electronic health records. I spearheaded and manage a population-based congenital heart disease database that covers over 100,000 patients with congenital heart disease from birth to old age in Quebec, from 1983-2010. I have reports of invention for health information technology tools aimed at improving quality of care for congenital heart disease patients. I work with policy makers in Canada and elsewhere to improve health services delivery models for patients with lifelong conditions.
