Biography: 

Shannon (they/them/iel) is an equity education advisor on the Equity Team. Their portfolio focuses on building equity education initiatives related to gender, 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities, and intersectional equity. They are passionate about employee wellbeing, and helping staff and faculty foster more inclusive work and learning environments.

Shannon’s prior positions at McGill include managing the It Takes All of Us sexual violence education program and supporting web marketing and data management at McGill-Queen's University Press. They hold a BA Communication from Simon Fraser University, a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from McGill University, and are currently working (slowly) on a Graduate Certificate in Information Architecture and Design.
