Lianne Cihlar
Biography: 

Lianne is a Mediation and Investigation Advisor at the Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR) in the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic). Her role focuses on conducting investigations and mediations under McGill’s Policy on Harassment and Discrimination, as well as raising awareness in the university community of the Policy on Harassment and Discrimination and McGill’s Policy against Sexual Violence.

Lianne holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to working at McGill, she worked as a workplace investigator collaborating on and leading investigations relating to harassment, discrimination, sexual violence, and other misconduct. In addition to being a lawyer in good standing with the Barreau du Québec, Lianne is a mediator in civil and commercial matters accredited by the Barreau.
