Required Statement on Job Postings

Each academic unit that is recruiting ranked academic staff must:

  • Take steps to attract applications from suitably qualified members of the designated groups. For support in attracting a diverse applicant pool, please contact McGill’s tynan.jarrett [at] mcgill.ca (Senior Employment Equity Advisor).
  • Include the Equity Statement and Immigration Statement in any position advertisement for ranked recruitments.  The most up to date statements can be found on the Academic Personal Website.
