Biography: 

Dr. Keith Richardson is a Head and Neck surgical oncologist working at the McGill University Health Centre. He holds the position of Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Richardson obtained his MD and FRCSC degrees at McGill University.

As an accomplished researcher, Dr. Richardson has co-authored 67 peer-reviewed articles over the past 15 years.

Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Richardson has a mixed English and French background. He specializes in head and neck surgical oncology, with a particular focus on thyroid cancer, melanoma and other skin cancers, oral cavity cancer, parotid cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, and laryngeal cancer. Additionally, he is skilled in free flap reconstruction for head and neck functional and cosmetic defects.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Richardson enjoys a balanced lifestyle. He likes to barbecue at his lake cottage and is fond of playing hockey and golf. He is happily married with three amazing children. Dr. Richardson appreciates the convenience of living just two blocks from the hospital, allowing him to walk to work and maintain a healthy work-life balance while always being available for his patients.
