Biography:
I received my PhD in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in modern Japanese literature. I also hold a BA and an MA in Chinese Language and Literature from Tsinghua University. My research interests include Chinese and Japanese literature, Sino-Japanese relations, East Asian popular culture, and second language pedagogy.
