From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

At EAS, we believe that the first step towards gaining knowledge of the history, literature, philosophy, or film of any culture begins with a deep learning of languages. Our department offers hands-on language classes, survey courses on Korea, China, and Japan, and seminars about media, gender, religion, and more.
