I received by PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2016 where I generated several transgenic tools to visualise cellular events such as cell cycle progression, apoptosis and ciliogenesis in vivo using live fluorescence imaging techniques. In 2017 I moved to Montreal to start my postdoctoral research in Yojiro Yamanaka’s lab investigating the development and homeostatic processes in the oviduct, in order to increase our understanding of ovarian cancer initiation. I have immensely enjoyed the opportunities I have had to mentor students throughout my PhD and now, in my postdoc, I would like to continue to share my experience in working in academic research with new students of the CRRD.
