Symposium annuel sur le trauma complexe - Annual Symposium on Complex Trauma

ARC logoThe Annual Bilingual Symposium on Complex Trauma is a 2-day event that brings together researchers, policy makers, students, and professionals from diverse child and youth-serving sectors, to share expertise, stimulate discussion, and foster momentum regarding responses to complex childhood trauma and the ongoing enhancement of trauma-informed services for children and youth across sectors. Each year, the symposium features a combination of keynote speakers (leading experts in trauma research) as well as workshops and presentations focused on direct trauma-informed practice with children and youth (intervention approaches and experiences), and offers networking and community-building opportunities. Presentations and workshops are offered in French and English, and keynote presentations are supported by simultaneous translation to alleviate language barriers and silos, ensuring the accessibility of the event and the engagement of participants from both French and English sectors. Please visit the Canadian Consortium on Child and Youth Trauma for more information.
