Evening Mid-Term exams
- Due to the size of some courses, mid-term exams may need to be scheduled in the evening. Requests for mid-term exam bookings for the next scheduling cycle can be made as of the date the final schedule is posted in April. However, please note that at this early date we do not have the full inventory of rooms as there are still full term evening courses being booked, so confirmation of the booking may come at a later date. Please communicate with your Unit Timetable Coordinator. If they are unable to accommodate the request for room requirements then an email can be sent to timetableproject.es [at] mcgill.ca.
- Note that not all buildings are open late in the evening, therefore if possible, mid-term exams should be booked in buildings that are open for the duration of the exam. If the mid-term exam needs to be scheduled in a building during their “silent hours”, there will be no charges except in cases where there is a need for cleaning/repair/replacement and/or damage as a result of the mid-term exam. In those exceptional cases, charges will be levied on the unit that booked the room.
