Professor Emeritus Nancy Adler wins 2021 Emerald Literati Award

Congratulations to Nancy J. Adler, Professor Emeritus of Organizational Behavior, winner of the 2021 Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Author Contribution for “When Arrogance Kills Humility Becomes Our Most Powerful Form of Leadership”

Professor Adler was chosen by the Emerald Publishing Group as a recipient of a 2021 Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Author Contribution for her contribution to the book Advances in Global Leadership - Volume 13. Professor Adler and her co-authors (Osland et al.) received the award for their chapter titled Perspectives on Global Leadership and the COVID-19 Crisis.

Celebrating high quality scholarly research, the Emerald Literati Outstanding Author Contribution Awards recognise authors who have contributed something new or of significant value to the body of knowledge, either in terms of approach or subject matter.

Chapter Abstract:

As the world struggled to come to grips with the Covid-19 pandemic, over twenty scholars, practitioners, and global leaders wrote brief essays for this curated chapter on the role of global leadership in this extreme example of a global crisis. Their thoughts span helpful theoretical breakthroughs to essential, pragmatic adaptations by companies.
