Seminar - Revenge of the Zombies: Lessons learned from cystic fibrosis

Event

McIntyre Medical Building Room 1034, 3655 promenade Sir William Osler, Montreal, QC, H3G 1Y6, CA

The immune system controls a myriad of pathogens that vary in virulence. While we often pay attention to virulent pathogens at the cost of ignoring the docile, attenuated bacteria (Zombies), I will discuss how the attenuated bacteria become problematic in chronic situations such as Cystic Fibrosis.

This event is part of the Department of Physiology Friday Seminar Series and is sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Translational Research Centre.
