From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Anti-Racism in the Workplace

How does race and racism impact the working environment? What is our role in shaping an anti-racist workplace culture? This workshop will explore how understanding racism and integrating an anti-racist practice can create a better workplace culture for all.

In attending this workshop, participants will:

  • Analyze definitions of racism and anti-racism
  • Identify ways that racism manifests in the workplace
  • Explore strategies for strengthening an anti-racist practice
     

To register:

  1. Log in to Minerva.
  2. Select Employee Menu, then Training Menu, then Organizational Development, and then follow the instructions to complete registration.
  3. Note that an Outlook invitation and Zoom link will be shared with participants closer to the date of the workshop.
