Par l'intermédiaire de divers outils de mesure, dont l'analyse acoustique, nous visons à étudier les déficits sous-jacents à l'atteinte des différents sous-systèmes de la parole, ainsi qu'aux interactions entre eux et avec les processus cognitifs.

Nous nous intéressons également au développement d'outils d'évaluation des troubles de la parole pour le dépistage et le suivi des torubles de la parole, notamment pour les locuteurs francophones et l'établissement de biomarqueurs.

Projets en cours

Les projets en cours au laboratoire incluent :

1. La description des troubles de parole et de cognition chez les personnes atteintes de la sclérose latérale amyotrophique (SLA)
2. L'identification des altérations de la parole chez les locuteurs franco-québécois atteintes d'apraxie primaire progressive de la parole (PPAOS).
3. L'étude de la variation intra- et inter-individuelle dans la production de la parole chez les locuteurs avec et sans atteintes de la parole.
