An Internal candidate is a current employee of McGill who holds an active position. This includes students holding positions in Workday who have an employee profile.

An external candidate is an applicant who does not have an active appointment in Workday at the time of applying. You will need to create a candidate profile account in Workday, using a personal email account (not mcgill.ca or mail.mcgill.ca)
