Join First-UP student support group and Campus Life & Engagement for a FREE catered lunch and opportunity to connect with other First-Generation* students, past and present. McGill is home to a vibrant First-Generation community, including its staff and professors who were once First-Gen students, too. Come connect and take your place among this amazing group of people!

All first-generation students, staff, and faculty are invited. Come as you are — and leave with new connections, inspiration, and a stronger sense of belonging.

*First-Generation broadly means that your parents or caregivers did not complete a four-year postsecondary degree in Canada or North America (but your siblings may have), and includes students who are or were youth in care, as well as students estranged from their families. Essentially, if you feel like a trailblazer and you are seeking support from others who feel the same, this event is for you!
