How does it work?
Students enter the program in September each year. Faculty advisers guide students in planning their courses and research. Students are granted the M.Arch. degree upon successful completion of 45 credits of course work including a passing grade in the third-term research project..
All students are required to take:
First term
Research methods (ARCH 622/627; 3 credits)
Project Preparation I (ARCH 623; 6 credits);

Complementary 2
Second term
Project Preparation II (ARCH 6xx; 6 credits);
Complementary 3
Complementary 4
Complementary 5
Third semester
Research report/project (ARCH 6xx) 15 credits
The report/project comprises a substantial, stand-alone work, planned and produced by students in close conjunction with their advisors. Examples include an academic research paper; a major installation; or an investigation of a design research method.
