CIRI Announces 2014 Recipients for the Award for Excellence and the Belle Mulligan Award for Leadership in Investor Relations

The Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) is pleased to announce that Katherine Vyse has been chosen as the 26th recipient of the Award for Excellence in Investor Relations and Jennifer McCaughey has been chosen as the fifth recipient of the Belle Mulligan Award for Leadership in Investor Relations. These individuals were honoured at CIRI's 27thAnnual Investor Relations Conference in Ottawa.

L'honorable Peter Van Loan, leader du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes, a annoncé aujourd'hui deux nominations au Bureau de la sécurité des transports du Canada.  ... Mme Kathleen Fox est titulaire d'un baccalauréat en sciences et d'une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) de l'Université McGill. Elle a également terminé une maîtrise ès sciences en facteurs humains et sécurité des systèmes de l'Université Lund en Suède.

The disconnect of the executive training programme

Many management and leadership development programmes take great satisfaction in the positive responses received from individual participants on the “smiley” sheets they hand out at the end of their course. And for the most part these programmes do make a good impression on that manager or leader who leaves the programme feeling full of great ideas about how they will change themselves and their organisations.

He is currently on an MBA exchange in Beijing, at a joint program between Tsinghua School of Economics (SEM) and MIT. He previously served as the Special Situations Analyst in the Global Equities Team at Natcan Investment Management, the investment arm of the National Bank of Canada.
