The ILL service counter in McLennan Library Building (M1-55C) will close on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, February 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 from 10-11:30 am and again from 2-3:30 pm. David McKnight describes the fruits of McGill's Digital Collections Program (DCP), as well as some of the issues faced in digitization. He also reveals how DigiTool, software recently purchased by the McGill Library, will assist us in the creation and preservation of our digital collections.
The Life Sciences Library is testing a change to their current Reserves policy: They will allow students to borrow SELECTED Reserves books overnight -- a departure from the strict "two hours in the library only" policy employed for the past several years.
There seems to be a problem accessing all the Nature journals. Clients are being asked to log in with a username & password. We have not yet been able to contact Nature to see what could be the problem or when it will be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to have the issue resolved soon.
