Schulich Library of Science and Engineering news
Updated November 20, 2013 The Life Sciences collection has merged into the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering and the Main Education collection has moved to the 2nd floor of the McLennan Library Building. Back runs of journals and very low use monographs from our Science, Medicine, Engineering and Education collections are now located in the McGill Library Storage facility in the Currie Gym Building. Material will be retrieved from our storage facility regularly beginning in early January 2014.
Due to a major power shutdown, the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering will close at 8:00PM on Monday, October 24. The Library will reopen at 7:00AM on Tuesday, October 25. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Humanities and Social Sciences Library remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for study.

Please be advised there will be a ventilation shutdown at the Macdonald Stewart Library Building on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th from 07h00 until 16h00. This will affect the entire building including the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. This shutdown is necessary for Facilities to perform a filter change and replacement.
On Monday, October 10th (Thanksgiving Day), 24 hour study access will be available at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. All other library branches will be physically closed. Services (loans, reserves, consultations) at all branches will also be closed on Monday, October 10th.
