Marta Kobiela
Marta’s research focuses on how people learn disciplinary and professional practices and the environments that support their learning. She is particularly interested in the potential of geometry and spatial mathematics for empowering learners to become mathematical authors and inquirers. Her passion for mathematics education grew from her experiences working with students learning mathematics in a range of in-school and out-of-school contexts. When not doing research, you will find her playing with her cats, swimming, gardening, or experimenting in the kitchen.
