Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) has 4 standing committees: The MDCM Admissions Committee, UGME Operations Committee (UOC), Student Promotions Committee, and the MDCM Program Committee. The relationship between these committees, and their subcommittees can be seen in the organizational chart.
The undergraduate medical education curriculum is overseen by the MDCM Program Committee. This committee makes and enacts policies relevant to the design and delivery of the MDCM program. It ensures that the program is aligned with the Faculty’s mission statement and that it complies with relevant accreditation standards. It has responsibility for the design, management, integration, evaluation, and continual improvement of the medical curriculum. The Chair of the committee is the Associate Dean (UGME).
