From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Community Health Alliance Project (C.H.A.P.) - Partnering for Healthier Communities - Prize for Community Engagement

This prize is awarded to a graduate of McGill University based on demonstrated community engagement throughout medical school. This person has shown a commitment to working with the community to improve the health of individuals and populations. This prize was made possible by a generous donation of the Class of 1988 in honour of their 25th anniversary of graduation.

Please use the form below to make a nomination for the CHAP Prize for Community Engagement before October 31, 2023.

Please note:

  • Nominees must be graduating members of the Class of 2024 of the MDCM program of McGill Medicine
  • You do not have to be a member of the Class of 2024 or of McGill Medicine or of McGill University to make a nomination. All nominations are welcome.
  • Please supply a copy of the nominee's CV to longitudinalmdcm.med [at] mcgill.ca
  • In the case of self-nominations, it is recommended (but not required) to supply the name of someone who seconds your nomination.
  • Nomination information will be shared with the McGill Alumni Office.
