Presented at the 2017 CACUSS Conference
In 2017, the Student Affairs Collective submitted a proposal to present at the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS) Conference in Ottawa. To our great surprise and excitement, the proposal was accepted and some members travelled to Ottawa in June to present, " The Student Affairs Collective: Community building through grassroots professional development initiatives".

Received funding from the Office of the Dean of Students Advising Support Fund
In 2016, the Student Affairs Collective applied for and received funding from the Office of the Dean of Students Advising Support Fund. This fund is intended to support and develop academic advising at McGill by providing funding for new advising-related initiatives across the University. Refreshments for the 2016 Annual Advising Day were purchased using the funding that we received from the Advising Support Fund.

Nominated for the Principal's Award
In 2014/15 and 2018/19, the Student Affairs Collective was nominated for the McGill Principal's Award (Team projects category). The Principal’s Awards for Administrative and Support Staff is a university-wide award program that recognizes the outstanding contributions of administrative and support staff to the McGill community. This annual program provides staff the opportunity to promote, acknowledge and commend the exceptional performance of their peers. Their contributions will also highlight their involvement with the strategic direction of the University.
