RECRU supports a collaborative academic environment through regular scientific meetings, seminars, and research events that bring together investigators, clinicians, trainees, and collaborators from across the McGill respiratory research community.
Annual Respiratory Research Day
The RI-MUHC Respiratory Research Day brings together members of the Translational Research in Respiratory Diseases (RESP) Program, the MUHC Respiratory Division, and the broader respiratory research community. The annual event showcases research across fundamental, clinical, translational, and evaluative research and provides trainees with opportunities to present their work through oral and poster presentations.
Doctor Dorothy Wiselberg Seminar
The annual Doctor Dorothy Wiselberg Seminar, organized in collaboration with the MUHC Respiratory Division and the broader McGill respiratory research community, brings together local and invited experts to explore a timely theme in respiratory medicine and research. The seminar promotes exchange between clinicians, researchers, and trainees across disciplines. View past seminars here.
Weekly Faculty Meetings
RECRU holds weekly faculty meetings that provide investigators with an informal forum to present research in progress, discuss new projects and grant proposals, exchange ideas, and receive feedback from colleagues. These meetings foster collaboration and scientific exchange across RECRU's diverse areas of research.
Seminars and Scientific Activities
RECRU members also participate in and support research seminars featuring invited speakers, trainee work-in-progress seminars, invited lectures, workshops, and other scientific activities co-organized through the RI-MUHC RESP Program and the MUHC Respiratory Division.
