Progress monitoring is the implementation of session-by-session client outcome measures, in order to evaluate and improve outcomes in therapy. Progress monitoring tools are brief, client-reported questionnaires that can be administered in a variety of ways, including the use of paper and pencil, or electronic tablets. Progress monitoring facilitates effective, client-centred practice for clinicians.
