Aisha Barise Wins GPS Student Engagement Fund

Aisha Barise, PhD student in Educational Studies in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), is the recipient of the 2022 Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) Student Engagement Fund for developing initiatives that meet graduate student needs to enhance connectivity and community building between graduate students, and professional development. Supervised by Dr. Angelica Galante, Aisha won the GPS student engagement fund to support two initiatives developed for the graduate student community. The two initiatives are student-led creative output platforms for emerging graduate students to disseminate their research.
