We are a group of approximately 40 pediatric surgical sub-specialists representing 9 surgical disciplines who collectively and in an interdisciplinary fashion strive to provide the most innovative and safe treatments to children who present with complex surgical ailments. This picture was taken at the time of our fourth departmental retreat. The focus of this retreat was on the use of surgical simulation as a teaching method to train medical students, residents and fellows.
