Project: Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Dengue Fever in Kampot and Kampong Cham, Cambodia (2015–2016)

Dengue is endemic in Cambodia and poses a high burden on the health care system especially during peak transmission from June to November. This study assessed clinical severity and associated risk factors, circulating dengue virus serotypes, and the burden of laboratory-confirmed dengue compared to other febrile illnesses. The findings enhance understanding of dengue epidemiology and support ongoing surveillance and control efforts in two Cambodian provinces.
