MURA is an association for McGill retirees, from all sectors of the university, who were working at McGill at the time of their retirement.
Membership is free if your employee affiliation at the time of retirement was with a McGill staff association or union that underwrites the cost of membership in MURA for their members. Those groups are MUNACA, MUNASA, and SEU 800 Trades Downtown.
Your partner/spouse is eligible for free associate membership that entitles them to participate in activities and events at the same price as regular members. This does not apply to the McGill gym discount and associate members are not eligible to vote at the MURA annual general meeting. If your partner/spouse would like to receive communications, please provide the person's name and email address on the membership form.
Membership is not automatic
You need to submit a membership form. Click on the box below based on your affiliation when you retired from McGill.
