Join Our Research Lab
We welcome enthusiastic and motivated students to join our research team at the Movement Behaviours and Health Lab in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at McGill University. We offer opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students to gain valuable research experience.
Undergraduate Opportunities
Undergraduate students can participate in our research through:
- Volunteer Positions: Gain hands-on experience in research by assisting with ongoing projects.
- Honors and Research Practicum Courses: Integrate research into your academic curriculum and earn course credit.
- Thesis Projects: For senior undergraduates, conduct research with support from faculty and graduate students.
These opportunities provide a chance to develop research skills, learn about movement behaviours and health research, and contribute to meaningful projects.
Graduate Studies
We encourage highly motivated students to pursue graduate studies (MA or PhD) in our lab. If you are interested, please email bruno.dacosta [at] mcgill.ca (Dr. Bruno da Costa) directly to discuss potential research projects and funding opportunities.
Funding Opportunities: Prospective graduate students are strongly encouraged to explore external scholarship opportunities, such as CGS-M and FRQ scholarships, prior to applying.
