Intermediate 1 (September to March)
The Intermediate 1 module will build directly on skills developed in the Beginner Module with further opportunity for peer-to-peer communication and level-appropriate work with authentic media.

The Intermediate 2 module will introduce participants to more complex seminar-style discussion and debate and provide opportunity for more autonomous engagement with authentic materials.

Intensive Intermediate 2 (May Course)
This module is designed for participants who successfully completed Intermediate 1 OR who are assessed to have the appropriate level of comprehension. Intermediate 2 will introduce participants to more complex seminar-style discussion and debate and provide opportunity for more autonomous engagement with French-language texts. This module entails a more intensive participation schedule entailing 15 hours of asynchronous practice and 40 hours over 4 weeks of synchronous, in-person activity. More formal activities will be enriched by outings and meetings on the four Fridays of the session.
