Published: 2 June 2025

Congratulations to Harley Belfer (BCom’23), Isabelle Erb (BCom’24), Veronica Hall (BCom'24), Raphael Lafleur (BCom’24), Andrea Peck (BCom’24), and Dylan Winick (BCom’24) who were awarded the Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship by the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) program.

In memory of Lionel Pelham Kent, CA, this scholarship was established in 1998 to recognize academic excellence and strong communication skills among students entering the final year of the GCPA program. This year’s capstone case featured a Canadian business that operated in the film industry.

The GCPA program extends its thanks to Michel Iacono, CPA auditor for acting as scholarship judge. Michel is a film finance consultant with 9 years of experience at WDI SENCRL, an accounting firm specialized in the film and television industry. Michel also teaches Financing and Business Models in Creative Industries at McGill University.
