Community engaged learning
McGill University's Macdonald Campus offers many opportunities for local community members to engage in lifelong learning, such as community programming on food and nutrition (Lunch & Learn initiative), Let's Talk Science events to engage youth in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and the annual A. Jean de Grandpré Distinguished Speaker and Seminar Series.
We also offer engaging and educational activities on the fascinating world of science through a series of free online self-paced activity booklets for children and adults.

Food production
McGill's Horticulture Research Centre features greenhouses, orchards, research plots, and demonstration gardens. It's equipped with specialized facilities and machinery to support agricultural research and production.

Quebec biodiversity
The Morgan Arboretum is a 245-hectare forested reserve featuring a wide variety of trees, flowering plants, and shrubs, as well as a vibrant pollinator garden and wildflower field. It is home to amphibians, birds, insects, mammals, and reptiles.
