Open to all Quebec university MBA students for health-related projects and spinoffs that are participating in the InnovSanté program.
InnovSanté creates paid internship opportunities for MBA students in Quebec universities to get involved with technological innovators and entrepreneurs who have either just begun commercializing their research or who have just launched a high-potential spinoff from their research. The involvement begins with a specific project carried out by the MBA intern over 10 weeks, with the hopes that it can lead to the student potentially joining the future or existing startup as a co-founder. The MBA intern commits at least 10 hours per week toward the project and deliverables, and receives a $2,000 stipend award from InnovSanté at the end of the internship.
Eligibility
- Projects: Health-related projects and spinoffs that are actively participating in the InnovSanté program and have identified the areas needing assistance (e.g. market research and validation, competitive landscape analysis, fundraising strategy, and go-to-market strategy). If a project has already matched with an MBA student from the McGill Engine's Talent-Venture Match Award program, then it is not eligible.
- Students: MBA students who are currently enrolled in a Quebec university and will remain enrolled by the end of the 10-week project. Priority is given to the MBA students who haven't been matched with an InnovSanté project.
