Ashton Mathias, BA Honours in Political Science, is a recipient of the Susan Casey Brown Fund for McGill, McGill International Experience Awards, Ashton interned at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the International Organizations in Summer 2019.

Kelly O’Connor, Bach. of Civil Law Juris Doctor, received the Michael Novak and Kathleen Weil International Internship Award for an internship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José, Costa Rica, in Summer 2019. This picture was taken when Kelly went to a talk about the place of social, economic, and cultural rights in the Inter-American system at the Inter-American Institute for Human Rights.

Julia Nguyen, BA Honours Political Science and Economics, received the Susan Casey Brown Fund for McGill, McGill International Experience Awards, for an internship at the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, in Summer 2019. This photo was taken at a ceremony organized by the Taipei City government in honour of the first LGBTQ couples to be married in Asia.

Aaron Brisebois-McGuire, BSc. in Agriculture and Environmental Science, received the Iwanicki International Internship Award to work as a Field Assistant to a McGill PhD student to study foraging ecology and energetics of resident Peruvian seabirds across Peru, in Summer 2019. In this photo, Aaron is carefully placing a Markham's Storm-Petrel back into its borough.

Sydney Stevenson, BA Joint Honours in Political Science and International Development, received the Schull Yang International Experience Award for the Africa Field Study Semester in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, in Winter 2020. This photo was taken in the Maasai Mara, where Sydney learnt about the local fauna.

Rebecca Parry, BA in History, is a recipient of the Susan Casey Brown Fund for McGill, McGill International Experience Awards. Rebecca interned remotely for Machik, a Tibetan women-led non-profit based in Washington D.C., in Summer 2020. In this picture, Rebecca is conducting her internship from her "home office". 

Anna O’Driscoll, Joint Honors in Geography and International Development Studies, participated in the Panama Field Study Semester in winter 2019 and received the McGill International Experience Awards. Photo: Anna was reviewing plans for an experiment looking at the seed predation on the Dipterix panamensis tree on Barro Colorado Island, Panama.

Tuviere Okome, BA Honors in Environment, was a recipient of the Schull Yang International Experience Award for the Barbados Interdisciplinary Tropical Studies. In this photo, Tuviere was visiting Hunt’s garden and collecting information on the orchidaceae plant family in Barbados.

Elina Qureshi, BA Economics and International Development Studies, received the Susan Casey Brown Fund and interned at the Permanent Missions of Canada to the International Organizations in Vienna, Austria. In this photo, Elina was elivering a statement on climate change on behalf of Canada at the annual meeting of COPUOUS (Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space).

Jia Yin Xiao, BA Honors degree in Pharmacology, a recipient of the McGill International Experience Awards, worked as a summer student in Dr. Ya-Chieh Hsu’s Lab of Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI). This summer research enriched her undergraduate study and made her more determined about her future scientific career. In this photo, Jia Yin Xiao was doing experiment during her summer research in HSCI.

Tianze Lin, double majors in Mathematics and Computer Science, received the Schull Yang International Experience Award and studied at New York University (NYU) in fall 2019. At the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU, he had the chance to take courses from some best mathematicians.

Angello Alcázar, BA Sociology and Hispanic Studies, received the Schull Yang International Experience Award in winter 2019 to study at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in Spain. In this photo, Angello was working on his McGill Honours projects at one of the Complutense University libraries.
