UniForum is a benchmarking initiative designed to help McGill better understand how its administrative and support services are structured, delivered, and resourced.

The program, provided by NousCubane, an external consultancy, enables McGill to compare its operations with those of similar universities in Canada and globally, helping to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.

Through UniForum, McGill community members can:

  • Gain a clearer picture of how administrative services support the university’s mission.
  • Compare McGill’s service model with those of other institutions to identify strengths and areas for improvement while ensuring alignment with our unique institutional context.
  • Use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement efforts and strategic decision-making.

McGill is one of 12 Canadian universities participating in the UniForum program, along with institutions such as the University of Toronto, McMaster University, University of Alberta, Queen’s University, University of Saskatchewan, University of Ottawa, and Dalhousie University. The program also includes 40 universities in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Mexico, fostering a broad network for benchmarking and best practice sharing.
