Cyrus Guernsey Pringle (1838-1911)

Cyrus Guernsey Pringle, a Vermont native, was an avid collector in Mexico. The McGill Herbarium contains over 3000 Plantae Mexicanae collected by Pringle. Over 300 of these are invaluable type specimens from a variety of families.
