Visualizing Data: How images can generate interest in science

It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what are they actually trying to tell you?

Attend this Graphos workshop offered by Dr. Leigh-Anne Loots (postdoctoral fellow in Chemistry) and Dr. Yvonne Hung (Graphos coordinator) to learn about how images can be effective in documenting data and also telling a research story.

The workshop is being offered in conjunction with Science Literacy week (September 19-23) and will be held on McGill's downtown campus on Thursday, September 22, from 1pm-2pm.  Registrants will receive the workshop location in a confirmation email.

If you are not a McGill student but would like to attend, please send an email to graphos [at] mcgill.ca to register.
